[ July ] 20th - Get my wisdom teeth removed. 22nd - 4 years and 1 month with ~Sterence <3
It has been approximately one year since I have updated DeviantART and oh, so much has happened in that time.
I have just turned 19 years old and have been with ~Sterence for 4 years. We now live together. I am half way through my 2nd year of university but due to <insert long and complicated story here>, my marks and interest in the degree have severely declined and I'm not yet sure of what the future holds. I am now into gaming, cars and cooking.
Recently a number of complicated and worrying situations in my life, mostly unwell family members, have inspired me to write and draw again, so I thought it was important to re-open my DeviantART account.
Next week I will be living at my computer as I am getting 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed. Maybe I will draw something while I'm in 'happy land' and see what the result is.

[ June ] 22nd - 3 years with ~Sterence <3 30th - My 18th birthday! Yay!
[ July ] 21st - Semester 2 of university begins. 22nd - 37 months with ~Sterence <3 25th - Received subscription from `Duffzilla.
My art life is pretty much completely on hold unless the wonderful DeviantART community is interested in seeing my boring-university-lecture-sketches. Haha.
Lately my boss hasn't been giving me hours and the fact that I haven't made much money has made the new university semester a dreaded one, considering I have to pay for books and equipment and all the rest.
The up side is that I have been blessed with a computer from ~Sterence's friend and all I have to pay for is the graphics card when I can. He built it for me after hearing my computer 'exploded' and all I've been using is my little laptop. It needs a few parts to run yet, but it's still a blessing and so greatly appreciated.
The other thing is that `Duffzilla very generously bought me a 3 month subscription to DeviantART, which means more to me than he knows. I thought I would display some of his art here in my journal to show my appreciation. He's incredibly talented and his paintings never fail to make me smile. His entirely gallery is simply gorgeous & I'd encourage anyone to take a look.
A few days ago one of my beloved pet mice escaped from his cage and disappeared. Despite endless, extensive searches - he hasn't been found. It's been very upsetting, as ridiculous as it seems, but you could only understand if you yourself has had one of these affectionate, playful, individualistic creatures as a pet. A clear photo was never able to be taken of him, but hopefully, if I find the time, I'll be able to draw him as a tribute to the special mouse ~Sterence and I called 'Sootball'.
In other news, university is forever crazy. They decided to move the courses at my university campus to a campus thats at least another hour away. It's so convenient for me.
Also, I found some photos on my camera of a candle on some tiles (it's cooler than it sounds). I'm hoping to set up a 'Candle Series' soonish.. uhuh.
Hopefully photos from my recent camping trip with ~Sterence turned out nice. If they did, it means cliche lovey dovey photos are headed this way..
Of course, all this will only happen if the floods of uni work go away..
