Literature Text

No one to turn to,
Nowhere to hide,
I'm now surrounded by,
Your thick walls of pride.

A scream leaves my lungs,
As fear has its way,
I know I can't run,
For the third time today.

My hands start to shake,
You hold your death stare,
Your hate is flooding me,
And no one seems to care.

The air becomes thick,
Too thick to inhale,
And the heat that surrounds me,
Through my chest it impales.

My heart grows heavy as,
My legs grow weak,
You say I deserve it,
Terror hits its peak.

I look around as,
My entire world crumbles,
And onto my knees,
My whole being tumbles.

Still can't breathe in,
Little angel is shaken,
As empty as the air,
My all you have taken.

Left on the floor,
A hopeless, sobbing mess,
My sanity & vision,
As black as a mourners dress.

The eyes of life,
Have closed on me,
And yet again,
It's death I seek.
The title DOES have a connection to the poem, really! It's a longish and personal story as to how.. :hmm:
I wrote this a little while ago, finally convinced myself to submit it.
